Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

In the event of bad weather, serious illness, or other unforeseen emergencies, Ever After Events (EAE) reserves the right to cancel the event, with notice of the same provided to Client no later than three (3) days prior to the Event Date, and offer an alternative date. If cancellation occurs, a full refund of your payment will be issued.

If an emergency arises and Client needs to cancel the event your full payment will be refunded to the card used during check-out. Client may reschedule event with a minimum of two weeks notice. An event can only be rescheduled once and is subject to availability. Changes to Characters, Performers, or any other party details may not be made less than 14 days prior to your event.

By booking your event you understand that no changes may be made if your event is less that 14 days away. This includes but is not limited to date/time changes, character changes, staff changes, outfit changes, and schedule changes. If Client requests a cancellation with less than 14 days notice, Client will receive a refund of 50% of the initial purchase.

By booking your event you understand that you may not request specific performers for your party. This policy has been put in place in case of emergency where we may need to switch out performers.
Liabilities -
By booking your event, you specifically release Ever After Events from any claims or liabilities of any kind whatsoever, arising from or related to their participation in your event. You acknowledge that Ever After Events, LLC and all its employees and affiliates are not responsible for any damages occurring to or on your property from their participation in your event.

By booking your event, you agree to give consent to Ever After Events and its authorized representatives, granting them permission to photograph and/or video record their participation in this event. You further agree that all photographs and materials recorded may be used in any form, as part of any future publication, video, brochure and or other printed material for promotion. Ever After Events, LLC. has your permission to use your or your child’s photograph publicly to promote the company. You understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media. You also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to you by reason of such use. Please email us prior to booking if you do not agree with this and we will work with you.

By booking your event you give consent for your child(ren) to participate in makeup, face-paint, temporary tattoo, or hair up-do application. You hereby acknowledge that while the application of makeup is generally regarded as safe, that allergies, or reactions to makeup products (including, but not limited to: cream makeups, liquid latex, spirit gum, spirit gum remover and all other makeup products), and mistreatment of makeup products and tools by my child can result in injury. You have carefully considered all risks involved in this activity, and hereby agree to hold Ever After Events, LLC and their respective employees/students harmless for all personal injury to your child which could result from participation in this service. You hereby acknowledge that all brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by yourself to an Ever After Events staff member prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may need to be performed on the skin to test reaction. You understand that Ever After Events, LLC and their respective employees and or students are not held responsible for complications that may result in leaving the event without assisted removal of product including, but not limited to: cream makeups, liquid latex, spirit gum, spirit gum remover and all other makeup products.

By booking your event, you understand that performers of Ever After Events cannot perform in rain, snow, sleet, etc. Doing so causes damage to costumes and wigs. If you do not provide adequate shelter for performers during the duration of their performance, you are fully liable for the cost of fixing and/or replacing the damaged costume pieces. Keep in mind, just one costume piece may cost upwards of $1000.00. By booking your event you acknowledge that you are liable for cost of fixing, cleaning, or replacing any costume items that are damaged during their party (the “Fine”); Causes of damage include but are not limited to dirt stains, grass stains, food items, paints, markers, children, rips and tears, etc. Client will be billed for any damages occurring to Ever After Events' property via invoice that will be due no later than one week following your party; in no circumstances will you owe any amounts in excess of the Fine to Ever After Events.
COVID-19 -
By booking your event with us you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that your child(ren) and you maybe exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others, including, but not limited to, Ever After Events' employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families. You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to your child(ren) or yourself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you or your child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with your child(ren)’s attendance participation in Ever After Events programming (“Claims”). On your behalf, and on behalf of your children, you hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Ever After Events, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. You understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Ever After Events, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Ever After Events program.
Staff Health & Safety Measures -
By booking your event you agree that all EAE staff members may only perform outdoors when the temperature is between 50 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit with the exception of “Mermaid Pool Parties” packages. If at any time a staff member feels that their health is being compromised due they are free to leave and Client will not be reimbursed.

By booking your event with Ever After Events, LLC you understand that you cannot use any other local princess party entertainment company for the same event that you hired EAE for. Doing so results in an automatic cancellation and a complete non-refund of your entire payment. EAE reserves the right to leave your event this occurs.

By booking your event with us you understand that we reserve the right to leave your party if there are any inappropriate advances, comments, etc from anyone at your party. No refunds will be issued if this is the case and performer is not required to stay the full duration of party.

PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF OUR STAFF IF ADULTS ARE ENJOYING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES DURING YOUR PARTY. Any inappropriate conduct from guests at your party towards staff will result in our staff leaving your party with no refunds.

Code of Conduct
Our code of conduct is designed to promote and preserve a safe, welcoming, and magical environment for all who attend and participate in our activities.
Ever After Events expects that all guests, children and adults, will:

Be considerate and respectful to staff members and other participants.

Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior, materials, gestures, and speech.

Speak up if they observe anything at an event that conflicts with this Code of Conduct. If you are being harassed or feel uncomfortable, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the EAE staff immediately.
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
Unacceptable behavior from any guest will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech, materials, or conduct by any Participants of the event and related event activities.

Violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed against another person.

Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory jokes and language.

Personal insults, particularly those related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.

Inappropriate photography or recording.

Taking of photos within the event environment for use on social media, without the prior permission of the individuals or owners of the content therein.

Any boisterous, lewd, or offensive behavior or language, including but not limited to using sexually explicit or offensive language, materials or conduct, or any language, behavior, or content that contains profanity, obscene gestures, or racial, religious, or ethnic slurs.
CONSEQUENCES OF UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If a Participant engages in unacceptable behavior, Ever After Events may take any action it deems appropriate, including leaving the event with no refund. EAE may also, in its reasonable discretion, temporarily ban or permanently expel a Participant from attending future events or booking services.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU WITNESS OR ARE SUBJECTED TO UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
If you are subjected to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify EAE event staff or contact EAE's CEO as soon as possible. EAE event staff will be available to assist those experiencing unacceptable behavior to feel safe for the duration of the event. All reports will remain completely confidential.
