Acting and/or singing experience:
I have been doing musical theatre since 5th grade. Through my life I have had the blessing of being in 10 theatrical productions, landing a couple lead roles such as Cinderella in Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella the Musical to Grandma Addams in The Addams Family The Musical. I was also an active member in my high school’s Show Choir as well as the Select Chamber’s Choir. I have also acted in several student made short films at my school, Point Park University.
What do you do outside of princessing:
Outside of princessing, I’m currently studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinema Production at Point Park University. I also am a special effects makeup artist and scare actress at the ScareHouse, Pittsburgh’s scariest haunted attraction.
How long have you worked for Ever After Events:
Since January 2019
How long have you been cosplaying for:
I have been transforming myself into different characters through special effects and cosplay since I was 10.
List of characters you’ve portrayed:
Some of my favorite characters I have portrayed are Emily from the Corpse Bride and my original creepy characters. And then of course hanging with my princess gals!
Favorite characters you’ve portrayed:
1. Snow Princess
2. Lost Princess
3. Snow White
5. Glass Slipper Princess
Best/worst parts of being a cosplayer or performer:
The best part of being a cosplayer/performer is being able to transform myself into someone for a bit using my talents. It’s so incredible, especially in princessing, to change someone’s day, a child’s, and inspiring them to never being afraid to embrace who they are inside, a princess or prince, and helping them unleash their inner creativity. The worst part is how expensive it can be to create such costumes and obtain such makeup.
Favorite memory from a party/event:
My absolute favorite memory had to be when I was playing as the Snow Princess for a Makeover with the Snow Sisters Event. When doing face paint on a little girl, I asked her who her favorite princess was. She responded with, “You. I want to be just like you when I’m older. My dream is coming true. I’m meeting you. And you are prettier in person.” After a warm hug, I must say, tears swelled in my eyes. Seeing the smile on her face and making her dream come true was worth more than anything in the world.
Who is your favorite character (live action or animated, doesn’t have to be one we offer or one that you’ve played) and why:
I would have to say the Snow Princess is my favorite character. She literally is my spirit animal and she has one of the most loving, determined, and energetic personalities of any princess. She isn’t afraid to be herself and I believe that is the most important trait of all, being unique.
“Dare to be different and never be afraid to be you.”
Fun fact about you:
A fun fact about me is that I have two Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches as pets. Their names are Meatball and Stephano.
Any extra fun things about you or performing that you want included:
I would also say how wonderful it is to have my real life prince as my performing prince with me too, Jimmy. And how grateful I am for all the friends I have made and all the warm hugs I’ve received.
